it was still in the same install loop, but now only 1 in every 5 reboots it would say how much of windows is installed and still say 64%.
i then realised my backup had disappeared so i did a reinstall of windows to factory settings, it did its normal windows install loop that took about 2-3 hours but then it just kept looping constantly turning itself on and off but keeps saying windows is installing at 64%, so i left it for another 3 hours thinking it was just taking longer than it should.ģ hours later. My laptop has been running pretty slow for quite a few months but its brand new, so i decided i would try doing a restore to my last backup (which i created when i first got the laptop) in case i might have downloaded something that was causing this performance hit.
